MY STORY: Jessica Beckford
A senior at the Art Institute of Tampa, majoring in interior design Currently juggling two jobs my school as a tutor and at Crate N' Barrel.
You would think writing about yourself would be the easiest thing to do but personally i like designing. Nothing brings me more pleasure than making something new out of something old. Growing up i knew i wanted to be some kind of designer the battle was trying to figure out which kind. With all my creativity and mindset i set out to find the perfect match. Senior year in high school is when Cinderella found her glass slipper. I was placed in an interior design class (by accident) and fell in love. I ended up staying the whole term of the class and joining a club called FCCLA (Future Community and Career Leaders of America). I went to FCCLA Interior Design Division competition with a group and we ended up going all the way to nationals and won GOLD! That’s when i realized that interior design was for me.
I’m very passionate about interior design and the work i create from it. This website along with my blog is to open up my world and mind to fellow designers. To learn for others and express my knowledge and skills to people like me and hopefully reach out to future partner and gain experience. In the past couple years I've been studying interior i have learned so much and with that knowledge i hope to teach others and continue this lovely evolution of interior design.

So like always keep your head held high and your eyes on the prize!
